Starting in December of 2001, Justin Roja began planning small black tie charity based New Years Eve parties for his friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. Soon, small soirées became blowout events and the hottest tickets in town. Never thinking of himself as a promoter, Roja was convinced to step outside of the New Years Eve box and link up with his current partners, City Visions Entertainment. After producing several successful events featuring headliners like DJ AM, Shwayze and Mos Def, 7×7 Magazine declared City Visions and Justin Roja Presents the “Promoters of the Year” for 2007 and 2008 respectively.
Spending years building his relationships with several local charities, print publications, promoters, corporate sponsors, local businesses, premiere entertainment acts and DJs, Roja has found the right niche of friends and colleagues to work and socialize with.
A San Francisco born Renaissance man, Roja is a political consultant, club owner, entertainment commissioner, event planner, brand marketer and promoter. From working for Mayor Gavin Newsom, to owning 330 Ritch, to planning some of the best events in the city, there’s no question that Roja’s passion is San Francisco and its nightlife.
